How to Get Here
The Ocean Charters Office is located on the coast in Westport, Washington.
The directions are in two stages. The first stage is to pick the set of directions will get you to Aberdeen coming from the North, South, or East. If you're coming from the West, call the Marine Operator. The second stage is to follow the directions from Aberdeen to Westport, and then down to the docks.
From SPOKANE and ALL POINTS EAST to ABERDEEN
Take Interstate 90 Westbound over Snoqualmie Pass. At North Bend, take Hwy. 18, Auburn exit. Follow highway 18 southwest, past Auburn, to the interchange with I-5. Get on I-5 Southbound. Follow the directions for Seattle to Aberdeen. From SEATTLE, CANADA, and ALL POINTS NORTH to ABERDEEN
Take I-5 south to Exit 104. At Olympia, take Exit 104 onto Highway 101. (The sign says Aberdeen/Port Angeles or Aberdeen/Ocean Beaches. The two far right lanes both exit.) Stay on this road until Aberdeen, even though the highway’s numbering changes first to Highway 8, then to Highway 12. Olympia to Aberdeen is about an hour. Follow the directions below for Aberdeen to Westport.
From PORTLAND and ALL POINTS SOUTH to ABERDEEN
Take I-5 north to the Oakville/Rochester exit. Follow highway 12 West to Elma (about 45 minutes). At Elma, take highway 12 West to Aberdeen. Follow the directions below for Aberdeen to Westport.
From ABERDEEN to WESTPORT
Once you enter the city of Aberdeen, get in the far left lane. Go over the first bridge, the Wishkah river. Travel two blocks, to ‘H’ street. There’s a big building on the right with a huge, painted sign on the exterior that says WESTPORT. Turn Left on ‘H’ Street. Get in the middle lane, so you are in the right lane going over the second bridge, the Chehalis River Bridge.
At the traffic light at end of the bridge, follow the green arrow going straight. Stay on this road as it curves to the right. Follow this road, which becomes Highway 105 South, for about 20 miles to Westport.
WESTPORT to the DOCKS/OFFICE
About 20 minutes out of Aberdeen, you’ll pass Brady’s Oysters on the right. A few miles past this you’ll see a sign for Westport docks.
At this ‘Y’ in the road, go to the right. You’ll be on this road all the way to our office. On this part of the drive, you'll go past the school, through our one and only stop light, past Anchor Bank, the airport as the road curves left, and the Hungry Whale Chevron station as the road curves to the right and toward the dock area.
At the docks, you will come to a 4-way stop. Turn left. Go two more blocks. Office is on the left, directly across from Float 14.
